No more lynchings locally.

We're working on more children's finger-puppet videos and getting audio New Testaments out to radio stations. God's opening some doors there so we're grateful for that.

I'm trying not to wear our my readers and haven't put so many stories on my blog lately, but you can see some updates there, www.sololagracia.com.

Take care,
Johna pilgrimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01205829941470091486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23067594.post-3070239848200636202008-10-01T14:33:00.000-07:002008-10-01T14:33:00.000-07:00Hey John,It's good to hear from you. My point was that the man was clearly enamored with McCain's response.

How's Guatemala?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23067594.post-71215717238233122822008-10-01T12:22:00.000-07:002008-10-01T12:22:00.000-07:00Aaron,Interesting letter. Just a quick response to your comment: "I can understand the Palins getting a little teary-eyed at a "prophetic" word given their Pentecostal background, but John McCain? Puhleeasse!!"

Perhaps you were reading too quickly, but the writer doesn't say McCain shed any tears. He says McCain gave him "a deep look of understanding."

As for whether the writer is guilty of idolatry, maybe so. Many folks seem to get overly impressed by people in power. Through Isaiah, God urged his people not to fear men: "But the LORD of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread," Isaiah 8:13.

Grace to you,
Johna pilgrimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01205829941470091486noreply@blogger.com
