Maybe I'm not so crazy

For the past year I've been blogging about some very challenging concepts. Some of my ideas (especially the idea that separation of church and state is a Christian idea)have made me feel like a spiritual maverick within the American Christian church. For a while, I was wondering if there was anyone out there who really understood the way I see things.

Now that I am almost finished with Philip Yancey's book What's So Amazing About Grace?, I am delighted, and perhaps a little disappointed, to know that I may not be as crazy as I thought after all. Now that I have found a book that basically explains what I have been trying to say all along, I am wondering, what can I blog about now?

St. Louis Rams anyone?

It's a post about how gun control has been stirred up pretty seriously because of the VT massacre. What does the Bible say? What do statistics say? What does your logic say? Is there a place christians should stand or is it a every man for themself topic?

P.S. I will likely have a lot to say about whatever you post!

actually, i was thinking of the same topic. however, i've never thought of the issue of gun control as related to the bible at all.

aaron, i know you'll have plenty of stuff to write about. you keep up with what's going on in the world and you have a strong biblical foundation. don't worry about what to write about. but if you do find yourself at a writer's block, perhaps you can bring up some of the ideas from that book for discussion. another option is to pace yourself a bit; maybe instead of a huge topic everyday, post something on a huge topic every-other day. it's a start.
